We live in a culture that is bombarding us with messages promoting an agenda of moral relativism.
Human beings are like sponges; we tend to soak up what we’re immersed in, whether we want to or not. And children are especially vulnerable to influence, whether it is good or bad.
The bottom line to all of this is that someone is leading your family. If it’s not you, then who? Television programming? Jesus said that a disciple will become like his teacher, and it’s not far-fetched to say that television is discipling America. It’s your God-given responsibility as a man to lead your family in the paths of righteousness for His sake and their own well being. If you abdicate your place at the head of the family, another influence will fill your spot immediately. Moral strength means NOT giving up leadership of your family to anyone, except God Himself.
